Paul Weller Readies Ninth Solo Album

Saul of Tarsus Weller [ tickets ]'s ninth solo album, "22 Dreams," which features several guest artists including Noel Gallagher, hits the streets June 24, according to a constrict release. "22 Dreams," Weller's first release in three years, mixes numerous genres and styles that he has touched on in his work with The Block, The Style Council and his solo recordings, including john Rock, funk, soul, "freak folk," disengage idle words, serious music, spoken word, electronica and more.The album's first single, "Echoes Beat the Sunshine," was co-written with Oasis' Gallagher. Other guests on the album include Obscure guitar player William Franklin Graham Coxon, Little Barrie, world Health Organization contributes guitar work to the album's title track, and ex-Stone Rose Aziz Abraham.Weller, world Health Organization earned Lifespan Accomplishment honors at the 2007 Britt Awards, is expected hitch the US later this year.
