Oscar winner charged after fatal crash
Roger Avary, the Oscar-winning co-writer of 'Pulp Fiction', has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence after a fatal car crash northwestern United States of Los Angeles.
Reuters reports that the crash occurred in the metropolis of Ojai, 80 miles (130 km) northwestern United States of Los Angeles, at about 1am on Sun.
Thirty-four-year-old Andreas Zedini, a passenger in Avary's car, died of his injuries at a local infirmary, Captain Monica McGrath of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said.
Avary's 40-year-old wife, Gretchen, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Captain McGrath said Avary was released from clink later posting $50,000 bail.
