Jaws star Roy Scheider dies, aged 75
Roy Scheider, the doer best known for his role as the beleaguered constabulary chief Martin Brody in 'Jaws', has died. He was 75.
The two-time Oscar nominee died of complications from multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood cells, at the Myeloma Bring for Inquiry and Therapy at the University of AR for Medical checkup Sciences in Little Stone.
Hospital spokesperson Leslie Taylor said the doer had been treated in that location for the disease at different times over the past tense deuce days.
Newly Jersey-born Scheider earned his start Academy Award nomination (Charles Herbert Best Support Role player) in 1971 for 'The French people Connection'.
Eight years afterwards he was nominated for the C. H. Best Doer Oscar for his functioning in 'All That Jazz'.
Among his other credits were 'Klute', 'Marathon Man', 'Still of the Night' and the TV jeopardize series 'SeaQuest DSV'.
