Shortly later forming, Minnesota's Four Letter Lie independently set out the EP Her Escape in May 2005, hitting the route hard to spread their name end-to-end the melodic hardcore/screamo scenes. Comprised of vocaliser Brian Nagan, guitarists/vocalists Kevin Skaff and Connor Kelly, drummer Derek Smith, and bassist John Waltmann, the ring before long sold over 1,five hundred copies of the EP, draw up various dates on the 2005 Warped and Taste of Chaos tours along the way. Based on an online fan suffrage, the guys were asked to open Taste of Chaos' St. Paul appointment the following year as intimately, and by early 2006 they were signed to Chicago powerhouse Victory Records. Four Letter Lie's label debut, Permit Your Body Take Over, appeared in late October 2006.
