Campbell hit with flight company ban
Naomi Campbell has been banned by British Airways for her behaviour on a Heathrow-Los Angeles flight last week.
The supermodel clashed with staff over her baggage, some of which did not make it on the board, and was taken off the flight.
She then allegedly spat on a police officer who attempted to calm her down.
A senior BA source told the UK's Mirror newspaper: "The decision was not taken lightly. She is a valued customer."
"But it is unthinkable for BA to talk about the safety of staff and passengers being our priority, then let her off. Her behaviour was absolutely shocking. She abused our staff and police."
Campbell, who was sentenced to five days community service by a court in New York in 2007 for assaulting her maid, could have been given up to six months jail time for this latest brush with the law.
However, it is reportedly unlikely that she will be charged if she agrees to accept an official caution.
