The other frontman for the '80s Christian alloy band Stryper, Michael Sweet left the mathematical group in 1992 to engage a solo career; his self-titled debut followed two age subsequently, and in 1995 he issued Actual, nominated for a Dove Award as Best Rock Album of the Year.
