James McAvoy: "I'm as Tight as a Scotsman's Wallet"
He might be a Hollywood star, but Scottish actor James McAvoy doesn't like to flash the cash.
The 29-year-old, who has raked in big bucks for new movie Wanted with Angelina Jolie and Last King Of Scotland, still drives his 10-year-old Nissan Micra.
He reveals, "I'm just quite tight. I play to stereotype - I'm as tight as a Scotsman's wallet."
He is filming The Last Station - about Russian author Leo Tolstoy - with his wife and former 'Shameless' costar Anne-Marie Duff.
He said, "We're doing it for the right reasons. We both want to do it."
Wanted, directed by Timur Bekmambetov, opens across the UK on June 27.
