The members of Crimson Thorn, sure as shooting one of the world's to the highest degree extreme-sounding Christian metal bands, choose to advocate their gospel singing via the unfeasibly rough-cut simply highly technical death metal style unremarkably championed by dark side-friendly acts of the Apostles like Suffocation and Immolation. Hailing from Minneapolis, they have recorded albums such as 1995's Unearthed, 1999's Dissection, and 2002's Purification at a leisurely pace, and comprise of vocalist/bassist Luke Renno, guitarists Miles Sunde and Andy Kopesky (replacing Paul Jongeward after the low LP), and drummer Kevin Sundberg.
